This Pinot has a beautiful dark ruby edge leading to aromas and flavors of black cherry, red licorice, and spicy notes of vanilla and toffee. The well-extracted flavors are framed with substantial tannins and a soft, balanced acidity. This is a bold style of Pinot Noir that pairs well with grilled meats, strong cheeses, or red pastas.

The vineyards in the Veneto region of Italy, where the grapes are grown, enjoy an ideal position between the sea and the foothills of the Alps, guaranteeing a mild climate and a constant marine breeze, which allow the grapes to dry quickly after rainfall. The hills stretch from east to west and offer a south-facing slope on which the vineyards benefit from excellent sun exposure, and a north-facing slope which allows the vine to retain vibrant natural acidity. The altitude varies from 300 to 1,500 feet, ensuring a significant temperature gradient between warm days and cool nights, enabling excellent flavor development.
A blend made from grapes from certified Organic Pinot Noir vineyards throughout the Veneto region of Northern Italy, this wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks to emphasize purity of fruit and intensity of spice characteristics that are hallmarks of the region’s terroir. The wine was then aged on French oak for one to three months, blended, filtered, and bottled.
